Turnov (Czech Republic, 1971)

Turnov is a town in the northern part of the Czech Republic famous for its long craft heritage related to glassmaking and jewellery. It was (and still is) home to the first European technical school for the processing of gemstones, jewellery and metals. It is also home to some beautiful medieval buildings such as that shown on the stamp, part of a set celebrating architecture in the then-Czechslovakia.
