Timber Industry (New Zealand, 1960)

With apologies for the blurry photo and the brevity of today’s entry (it’s late…):

Forestry accounts for $6.7bn of income and 35,000 jobs in New Zealand these days. Wood is the country’s third largest export, behind dairy and meat. Managed forests make up around 7% of the country’s area.
